Katherine Kesey

Katherine Kesey (b. 1996, Lubbock TX) is an oil painter and mixed media artist. Her colorful, gravity-defying works transform objects, places, and moments from her own life into collage-like compositions. Working often with mundane or ubiquitous subject-matter, she manipulates scale, color, text, and other formal elements to explore an inner dialogue obsessed with the significance of simple objects.

Katherine earned her Master of Fine Art from Otis College of Art and Design in 2023. She has held solo exhibitions at Bolsky Gallery, Los Angeles CA, and The Courtroom and Dalton Galleries, Rock Hill SC. Her work has been exhibited in group exhibitions including Hashimoto Contemporary, Los Angeles, CA, Goodyear Arts, Charlotte NC, and Gallery C3, Charlotte NC.
